Noesis Python Support -- Noesis supports Python through a native binary module. In order to add format/functionality support, put .py scripts in this folder which implement a method named "registerNoesisTypes". Take a look at __NPExample.txt for a complete model import+export sample module. You can rename the extension from .txt to .py if you want to be able import/export with it. Alt+T,R is a quick shortcut for reloading plugins/Python scripts. You can also assign the reload plugins menu item to the shortcut of your choice, from the View->Interface->Customize dialog. A trimmed down core 3.2.1 Python implementation is included. No modules (ctypes, sockets, etc.) are included - if you want support for them, you have to create a folder called "DLLs" under the Noesis folder and put them in it. DLLs not compiled for Python 3.2.1 may or may not work. Your registerNoesisTypes method should register file handles, and define its own methods to act as file handlers. (see examples in existing scripts) Noesis natively loads and makes the "noesis" and "rapi" modules available for import. However, the rapi module should only be accessed during file handler routines, because the entire underlying API is instanced. The following methods are available for the "noesis" module: {"logOutput", Noesis_LogOutput, METH_VARARGS, "prints to log.
